You can get the latest jDrums release here. The page also provides some basic instructions to make it work.

Packages

Sorry, no releases of jDrums are available yet.

jDrums is aimt to be distributed under the terms of the GNU-GPL license. For this purpose, sources have to be amended, in the same way it needs some general cleaning and translations.

I’m the last developer who cares about jDrums by now, and because I’m not a drummer, I have a very limited interrest in working on it further...

Instructions

This document assumes you have a Java Runtime Environment properly set up on your computer.

Right clic on the jDrums icon and choose the "save as" option. You’ll be then invited to save jDrums somewhere on your harddisk.

On most systems, you can double-clic on the jDrums.jar file to launch the program.

If it doesn’t work, you may have to manually invoke Java. For doing that, open a command box and navigate to the directory where jDrums.jar stands. You will need to type in this command:

java -jar jDrums.jar

You can safely store this command into a shell script, a batch file or even a Windows shortcut for an easier future launch.

Stay tuned!
